this area is more working out interoperability situations (NET) and developing
(DEV) FTN protocols, creating and discussing FTSC proposals and documents, and
similar developmental aspects of FTN network development...

Posting Frequency: 1st of the month.

The objectives of the NET_DEV echo are:

A. To facilitate discussion between developers and interested persons
   concerning existing standards and methods of processing FTN related
   network data.

B. To facilitate the development of new standards to be presented to
   the FTSC. Standards proposals may be posted for feedback from
   conference members.

C. To facilitate the discussion of implementations of FTN related
   network technology and the interactions of software utilizing
   the technology and data.


The rules of the NET_DEV echo are:

1. No ads (advertisments) or flaming.

2. No profanity.

3. Stay on-topic as much as possible.

4. English is the official language allowed in this echo. However,
   a message in your native tongue is allowed as long as there is
   an English translation in the same message. If you must, at least
   use google translate or similar to provide the English translation.

5. Be kind to others - they'll be kind to you.

6. Please let the moderator do his job.


NOTE: The moderator reserves the right to modify these rules as they
      deem necessary.
