This is probably the only remaining thing that turns me off the idea of an XML
nodelist. People shouldn't need to edit it by hand - it'll frighten them away.
But I understand there are numerous GUI XML editors floating around. I don't
know if any do validation though, or how the validation process (ie.
syntax-checking the XML) actually works in reality. Scott?

Not a big problem. Anyone really bothered by the size and extra processing
time can keep using SLF.
