yeah, that's the only way that i can see of doing FTS-19 in a bulletproof
manner.
or you coulsd make a list of all the used ones and check each one hasn't
been used in the last three years :)

yeah... you get that.

it looks that way from reading fts-19
It says the serial number comes before the end of line so some progs may
juse uset the last 8 hexdigits on the line while others may use the first 8
after the address part and the space....
