where do you get that "can only contain" from?? FTS-0005 states differently...
and FTS-5000 also states differently... and we won't even go into the reasons
why MAKENL has a specific verb allowing for additional connect speeds to be
allowed...

i just named three reasons why that's not totally true...

system that can only do 9600, then i can block that or whatever...

show me which of those flags is the one that indicates 9600? i, too, can make
adjustments based on the flags...
my POINT in this was to prove to you that the SPEED field ~is~ useful and not
there just for human convienience...
