Compiling under Windows requires the proprietary Watcom C/C++ Version 10 and
11c libraries (Open Watcom will not work). I have assembled a distribution
archive of all the build tools necessary to compile Maximus 3.02 (2.63 gb)
under windows. I successfully compiled the DOS, OS/2 and Win32 binaries and
tested some minor code changes in 2006.

Let me know if you want the build tools ([email protected]).

Althought I appreciate the efforts to port Maximus to Linux, I firmly believe
that development of the DOS and Win32 versions would be more worthwhile because
the best programs written for BBSes are for DOS.
