Why would YOU directly support someone, when they're not YOUR customer (even if
they were a paying customer of the product in the first place!)

Does your contract with Gameport include direct support to users, or is it the
more normal setup whereby they(the product owner) act as go-between and forward
reports to you & replies to their customers?
