Not sure which option this falls under, but is it possible to set it up so that
an IGM doesn't install over another's map screen(s)? At least to flag the
sysop at installation that these two IGMs "(name1 & name2) are incompatible,
and allow the sysop to choose just the one to have pre-eminence?
Some might say there's no ending to the game -- I say there are TWO, and
that's the way it should be -- after you win as both Koshi & Dragontooth, you
get to keep playing ("reeking havok" as Seth put it) using the two end-game
items you've won, and you then can work on finding & beating all the IGMs that
have been installed. . .
Or, do as some do, and buy all the buyable ones, and rent them only to your
friends (I think that qualifies under "havok")
If a sysop doesn't like that way of playing, he can install 2 games, 1 with & 1
without IGMs -- that's what I prefer to see, over a sysop going draconian &
imposing his will onto the game.
The only way I'd like to see a sysop imposing his will, so to speak, is in
making IGMs according to his/her own flavour of thinking. . . then players can
use them or not. . .
Have you actually received any IMs from me in Yahoo this past week? Or has
yahoo joined hotmail/MSN in blackballing me? :P
