Looking over the messages in the echo.. Most of them are about me and/or
my work.. I'm cool with that. I can't make everybody happy, and everyone
can have an opinion and can speak their mind. But I cannot stand around
while my friends are attacked.
So this one gets a reply first.

1) "several bug reports".. Looking over my "Lord" folder in
Thunderbird.. I've got 2 messages from "Sean Dennis".. One dated May
1st, the other dated May 14th. Both were about the same thing: A
filemode bug in 4.07 dos that only affects OS/2 and DosEmu..
But.. Sean and I did talk via email (and telephone, iirc) a couple of
times while I debugged that issue. So if I debugged the issue and fixed
it, why's Sean emailing me and asking for the patch again? Because he
lost it? I don't know.
2) "tried to call him" .. My wife made me a cake for my birthday, and I
tried to eat it all. I could not. Does that mean I ate the entire cake?
I have tried to quit smoking a couple of times, but I still light up on
a regular basis.. Does that mean I quit?
3) And then there's the "someone's drug-induced imagination" comment..
On one hand, I want to take personal offense to this.. Its (sort of?)
common knowledge that I was diagnosed bi-polar, add, etc (and yes,
emphysema) and, at one time, was taking medications.. But ya know..
Being angry about this just isn't worth my time.

Remember kids: If its only Bryan's two cents worth, then its only Sean's
2 cents worth as well. From that point of view, the opinions are equal.
However. Bryan and I stay in touch on a regular basis. Bryan really does
talk to my ghost daily. On the other hand, I have no logs, emails, etc
that show Sean has tried to contact me anytime recently. (Sean's emails
from May 14th is the last I have).
To put it bluntly: Bryan knows what he's talking about, and Sean doesn't.
Then there's the "liar and a welcher".. What'd I lie about? The amount
of bug reports?
And the welcher part.. I'd have to take your money and not deliver
anything to be a welcher.. I haven't taken your money. And if I remember
correctly, you publicly said you were running a warez'd version.
But wait! Michael gets a royalty for working on the game! Said royalty
has averaged a whopping $12 a month over the past 6 months. Granted, I
havent seen a check in 3 months.. Dont really care if I do. But, to pick
nits, I do get a royalty. That must mean that someone, somewhere is
entitled to my time right? I am a vending machine after all.
Entitlement. Hrm. Its a shareware title.. "Try before you buy" (to quote
a recent message from this echo).. If someone were to spend money on
something that doesnt get along with their system _before_ they tried it
out, who's entitled to what? But lets pick nits again. If a Dos/Windows
program has some sort of issue on a non-Dos/Windows operating system
that has been dropped by its developers, who's entitled to what?

Incorrect. Most of the time, I forward emails, mailing list messages,
etc to Bryan. He sees things directly. Him and I will discuss whatever
it is, and I will tell him my opinion. There has been several times
where he corrected me.
But.. If Bryan is being fed by me, at least he's eating. Meaning: He
does stay in touch, he does know what he's talking about, and he can be
relied upon for truth. That's a lot better than talking shit, and then
having to eat crow later.
