That can can have a devastating effect on your Charm Points for sure.  Have you
tried asking your sysop to disable the Ugly Stick from occurring?  If he does
not know how to do it, have him contact me or Michael Preslar.

Michael can be reached here in this echo, in DoorGames echo, via email at
[email protected], and via other methods listed on his web-site at
http:///www.michaelpreslar.com/.  People can reach me in the same echoes, and
via email at [email protected].

You need to tell your sysop that its time for him to upgrade to the official
release of LORD v4.07.  It was distributed on June 07, 2006, and be obtained at
the http://www.lordlegacy.com web-site.  You can also tell him that LORD v4.08
is now in beta.  He can learn how to get it by contacting Michael Preslar via
email or Fidonet echo mail.

Regarding increasing your Charm Points, have you reviewed strategies for doing
so on the http://kiteria.lordlegacy.com web-site yet? It is a MUST-SEE site for
anyone who plays LORD.  Besides me, Michael Preslar, and Suzanne Franklin, few
others have as extensive a knowledge of Lord tips and tricks.

Depending on which IGMs your LORD game is running, each one of a large number
has various events that raise Charm.  Of course, you also run the risk of
losing Charm.  But risk of LOSING something is the price you pay, other than
BBS time usage, when you enter an IGM.

Get me a list of the IGMs your BBS Lord game has running and I'll give you some
instructions on how to use them to raise your Charm Points.

Also download my Lord Tips archive from my web-site and read over its text
pages.  http://www.fidotel.com/public/camelot/dgt-lord.zip . Donald

BTW, pretty much everything on the Kiteria's Korner site is fully applicable to
LORD for Windows, LORD for OS/2, and LORD for Linux.
