Okay... you're a moron and it can be done.
When I'm in a Syncterm window, I left-click and hold, then drag to
highlight the desired text on the screen. When I get to the lower-right
corner of what I want to copy, I let go of the mouse button. The (blue)
highlight goes away immediately, but the text is still copied into the
clipboard/buffer. Then, in some other (Linux) app, I middle-click the
mouse, and that highlighted text is pasted into that app.
I'm using Syncterm v1.1b in SDL mode, if that matters (and it might).
