If you not think that mbse poll the nodes you like to connect to the try this
command for mbse.
mbout node (fidonet number)

It should show you what and how mbse is seeing the nodes line in the nodelist.
So if you like to poll the node by binkp and it not is shown as binkp then you
must go into mbsetup and to the nodes setup and change the section line for how
to poll the node + setting up 2-3 lines with the nodes binkp address.

Just try the command here and see what it show on the screen.
mbout node 2:236/150
then
mbout node 2:236/153
There shoudl be a difference on them.
