Not exactly light weight, but you could try if it works for you. Mozilla/Firefox provides a linux binary of their latest version, that you could download and install.

I'm using it too on this older openSUSE from 2015, because the distro provided older Firefox, was giving me trouble connecting to a lot of websites (like those of banks), that wouldn't accept the older browser anymore...
