it shouldn't have been... there's two ways to start a program, i'm sure you
know... one is an init.d script... the other is a link in a user's graphical
startup folder al la winwhatever...

there never will be a fix for this unless there is a newer version released...
there was a major change in the way that lookups are done in code and if the
code has not been updated to follow the calls, then it will always fail...
