most people do not delete first... they extract over the top of... that's why i
specifically mentioned it...

figuring out eh config layout isn't that hard, really... it just takes the
process of elimination but when some sort of checksum is also involved, things
are complicated, yes...
eg: i recently figured out what config files i need to copy between two
different allfix setups so they both have the same areas, links and search
settings while maintaining their different mailer related settings...
thankfully the original author saw fit to keep many option settings in separate
config files which enabled me to do this ;)
