You'll generally need a domain name for your BBS or some way to refer
to your BBS by a domain name and then configure DNS with an AAAA record.
ipv6 IN AAAA 2604:880:52:866:f1d0:1:124:5016
endofthelinebbs.com. IN AAAA 2604:880:52:866:f1d0:1:124:5016
bbs IN AAAA 2604:880:52:866:f1d0:1:124:5016
I have several ipv6 hostnames setup.
You'll also need your provider to allow you to setup a f1d0:: address,
usually through a control panel, many will give you a /48 or /64 which
can both be used.
