Hi Richard.  Ok now I saw my first HR10 .it was with a Cheyanne
heathkit AM/CW transmitter.

RW> YEp, Im a blind man, white cane and all <grin>.  A friend of mine had
RW> the hw-12 at the school for a little while.

I put my foot in my mouth. Sorry about that.  I used to live
in Toronto, just south of the CNIB and I helped with a few antenna
partys over at homes of a white cane operator.   He was a real friend
and I still hear him on out in Alberta sometimes.

Same thing here at CNIB, the sponsors do a great job helping with
logs, and we have a few up here, that I help despite age and medical
problems to keep on the air.   I love the fun times they bring to
ham radio.

I think that hits the nail on the head.
