When you post a message in Proboard, what does Proboard do? Do you have Proboard setup to create a semaphore for Fastecho to run after a message is posted or when you logoff the BBS?

If so, you have to do the same thing with Golded.

RS> AREAFILE FastEcho      C:\FE\

This option is only pointing golded to the message areas setup in Fastecho.

You still need to have something that runs Fastecho to scan out mail. Which I'm assuming you're doing with Proboard, but not with Golded.
