Yes.. I used QWK method for quite a while (at first) too.  It was a wonderful
solution.  Later, I added a Robocaller (I forget the official name) that would
walk through the BBS's menus automatically with the hotkeys.  If a sysop didn't

change a particular menu order or the key, it worked great!

Back to your current situation, why not carry a point/qwk setup on a thumbdrive

or memory card and plug that in to the different PCs you use?

Not sure how that would work on a smartphone device, but it probably doesn't
matter since you would only use that for a quick check, and not to write back.
