First, one of the nodes asked to help him make a transfer of his netmail on a perl to his telegram. I made it so that he could answer from Telegram. This is how it all started.
Then I realized that a UUencoded file can be sent by netmail. I became very interested in such possibilities and made myself a simple gate for CRIMEA.TALK and some other echo conferences.
Then the subscribers of PVT.ZONA got interested, which had already gated to the e-mail list. Together with them, for some time, the gate grew with opportunities and errors were corrected. A little later, the members of the fidonet.online group joined and an echo conference of the same name appeared. With their participation, changes and additions were also made for some time. For a while, I did not change anything and the gate worked for a long time in the form that the subscribers of this echo found. You know what happened next.
It's about a0.0.4 version. ;)
Now I have radically changed the way of sending messages to Fido and am finishing a new way of sending messages to Telegram. Then we will return to sending a netmail from Telegram to Fido.
