The innovation implemented by Thomas is [1] not being tied to a single pc,
[2] access to the fine control provided by GoldEd+
It's a pretty good combination for a "user" to learn and give a shit. ;)
It's a step up from a traditional user-point installation (without having
to be bothered with the initial configurations and setting up a point),
and it affords the user mobility to operate the point from any other pc
that is handy.
Thomas has essentially built a bbs interface that specializes in message
access. And, his interface solution is much better than a webified telnet
panel.
