Not sure, but that may have been before my time.  I just checked my
netmail folders.  I believe I have kept every netmail in or out since
even before I was given a node number.  Earliest is spring 1996.

I do not believe that I ever used phone to pick up my mail.  I was using
internet and SIO in OS/2 to connect to Jerry Gauss in South Carolina as
a point.  I did use phone to connect with local BBSes.
