Well imma gonna tell ya how its going
9/6/25 Found corrupted Hub core files, system did not backup, restored from a
week old backup
9/13/25 Another corruption, drive scanned good, replaced drive, restored from
yet another week old backup. cant set cryptlib to work. reinstall C++ files and
fixed cryptlib
9/20/25 Complaints of mail not moving start coming in, found someone had
uploaded a huge file to the HUB locking up many nodes. purge junk files and
delete huge file from outbound folders mail starts to flow
9/24/25 complaints for connection errors and bad passwords start coming in,
review node setups and verify passwords, many emails back and fourth fearing I
may need to rebuild the entire hub.
9/25/25 Find binkp and telnet ports closed on host computer for the hub. Spent
hours trying to get ports open, check router settings, ports are in the list,
factory reset router, setup all ports, still can not get Hub computer ports
open. restart computer............. ports open.....
9/26/25 Morning of. All seems well with in the BBS world again
Mind you this all while working 72 hour weeks, so If you all had issues I am
very sorry , My uptime is usually great at 99.8 %. That being said if you have
