Hey n3,
Good stuff, was already using the "old" one.
I have some tips for the advanced user AND maybe an idea for a request 4 g00r00
Tip1: its for busy systems only ... muaahaha ... who is paging you
: open your menu with the page command
: TAB to go to the Action List items
: Insert an action item type: NA - Set node action
: Add data: Paging Sysop // or whatever you like to be called
-> now you can see who is paging you in the action column in NodeSpy
Request1:
: we need a chat reason 'Display' code so it can be showed in NodeSpy ....
and/or
I already asked g00r00 for more info in NodeSpy concerning chat, like a chat
request indicator **wants chat** or a more advance or configurable external
chat, but it is probably still on the list :)
**off topic** or what about a NodeSpy that is looking/behaving like Netrunner (terminal / colors / size!!) ...
Tip2: instead of mpg123 you can also using a player like xmp
-> now you can listen to mod files or other old skool formats ...
SubTip: mp3 wont work with xmp ....
Tip3: Linux only: if you hear no sound, make sure that the user that is running the command is part of the audio group
