Just set up a VM with Ubuntu Desktop, already have Mystic running in it, I considered Mint as it is a light setup, but no need for lightness while running Mystic, at least in my opinion.. LOL the wikis are my friends! LOL

System is already done, it's a VM with Ubuntu Desktop. We'll see how things go, right now it is going really easy.. I will rebuild the desktop tomorrow and reinstall completely then copy my current system on top of it and convert all of the paths etc. Once all that is done, I will work on pulling in DoorParty and MRC etc with the outside programs that stuff runs.. Shouldn't be hard, if I can get a few hours to myself I can have it running in a few hours I think.. The fun part will come in 2 weeks when I toss the new 1TB SSD in my daily driver, and install Ubuntu and KVM and if KVM will allow me to run 3 monitors in a Windows VM (you know there at least needs to be some Windows support wine is nice but is a pain in the ass to get everything to run in it) lol if that works, I will run Ubuntu as my daily driver permanently..
