I miss having a plain ol' toaster oven. They came in handy when you wan
to make a single serving quickly.

In college dorms, toaster ovens were forbidden, and sneaking them in was
a fun challenge. Now, everyone has a microwave.

What I've always wanted was one of those little 3-in-one deals that have
a 5 cup coffee maker on the side of a toaster oven, and a little griddle
on the top. It uses the upper element of the toaster oven to heat the
element. While they're neat to look at, I doubt their practicality,
unless you live alone without a full kitchen already.
