I spent a good amount of time looking for the unix version of Waffle... =p

from the UNIX.DOC and a Waffle FAQ it looks like:

filenames would've been
   wafxxx.tar.Z or wafxxx.tz

versions were 1.61, 1.62, 1.64 and 1.65

sources were $120 so people probably didn't make it available

cybernetbbs.net ran Waffle but doesn't have Telnet open, ports 21, 22, 80,
443 are open but i can't connect to anything... other ports open too

every ftp/telnet site i can find is from the 90s and no longer around =/

i'll probably keep searching because it's kind of fun running across all this
old stuff and i have a fresh pot of coffee
