Very cool stuff!  I am going to play on it a bit more, first impression is that it's very cool!! :)

I also got a few replies on Mastodon to my query about Mastodon/BBS integration (basically responses saying there's been talk but no integration yet, and some suggestions of text-mode clients).

well, theoretically you could use the mastodon API I created for #DOStodon and implement some text mode mastodon access using #jSH. your BBS then could call jSH to access a mastodon server instance...
