You claim there's "no such thing as 'The American People'," as though a nation of 330 million strong, with a Constitution, a republic, and a vote, somehow doesn't count as a unified voice. That's a curious position for someone who still enjoys the luxury of free speech afforded by the very systems born of that same "non-existent" people.
Let's be clear: the American People do exist. They speak at the ballot box, they speak in their communities, and yes they speak in places like this. Dismissing them because your preferred outcome didn't materialize doesn't erase them. It reveals your disdain for representative democracy.
A minority you say? Perhaps but that's how elections work. There's never 100% participation, not in the U.S., not anywhere. The system isn't based on fantasy turnout numbers, it's based on the rules something you seem to forget when it suits your narrative.
If you want to argue that democracy is flawed, fine. But don't pretend your disdain makes it invalid. I'll stand with the American People even if you won't acknowledge them.
