That is a very good question.
At some point in time, I coined the phrase "Pulling a Witt" meaning that when confronted with an issue the other side by definition must be wrong without looking into the matter. Roy was a master in that, especially in turning the argument around.
So when I got totally confused at what was happening and went to echomail, here was Andrew Leary suggesting I was accidentally the culprit anyway by unknowingly triggering a zonegate ... something which doesn't exist in D'Bridge.
I have been using the package since 1988 somewhat as a point, later as a node and I can run it blindfolded ... there's no hidden 2:2/3 in it, nor is there in the nodelist.
Some weeks ago there was some issue with a CRC in a nodediff down the line, only on 1 system ... "Ward must have made an error" was the immediate comment. This has happened before.
I have erred in the past and when I do I have tried to be open about it but the automatic finger pointing and guessing what I have done wrong needs to end at some point, my learning curve is close to 35 years long.
And remember, I wrote "Don't take it personal". When someone calls me an asshole, I don't take it personal either, after all that person may even be right.
