The Walloon settlers monument in Battery Park at the southern tip of Manhattan which honours the first settlers onto Manhattan predating Pierre Minuit and Peter Stuyvesant. Belgians actually collonized and made the early development of Manhattan...that was several years before the hoax that it was bought from natives for some glass beads.
