I have a Cyberpower 685AVR, and I believe it gives around 30-45 minutes
after the power goes out. It's at least enough time to safely shut down the
systems and reboot then when the power is back on.
Granted, most of the time when the power goes out, so does the internet. So
I'm really not gaining anything except the fact that the computers didn't
just shut off with no warning.

Agreed. When that happens it happens. You can't do anything about it.
Though noone is going to come bang on your door when it does, either..
