I'm afraid that's the case everywhere. There are signs throughout the
city, that note "Excessive Noise Prohibited". Frankly, I don't know why
they put them up, as it's ignored.
From cars driving by with seemingly no muffler...to those with their
radios turned up so loud, that it seems like there's an earthquake in
progress (I guess the feel of that rhythmic beat is all they have, as
they've gone deaf from the loud music)...to those who shoot off the
firecrackers, fireworks, etc. inside the city limits (even though it's
illegal)...it's another case of so many feeling that "rules don't apply
to them".
With the fireworks, you're afraid to call the police, as if word gets
back that "you ruined their fun", they will vandalize your property,
and either hurt or kill you. They have no consideration for those who
have PTSD, or overly sensitive pets. They are like so many in the world
today who live only for themselves, thinking the world revolves around
them alone, and to Hell with everyone else.
Next thing you know, they'll say sneezing, belching, and farting
is illegal outside your home. Well, if that's the case, The Good Lord
needs to just nuke everything right now. The dogs let out some really
nasty farts, and they don't care. :P
