I missed the "C source code available" on the first read!  As it turns out, the
source code is very DOS-specific, and not portable, so a lot of work is needed
there, but you could then have a version that worked natively under
Windows/UNIX (that would support long file names for eg.).

Is that the only Y2K bug?  Just a display issue?  That's all I noticed.  I
changed line 106 of redate.c to read:

((mbrdate >> YEAR_SHIFT) + DOS_EPOCH) % 100,
