i'm kinda with you, paul... something else, though, that would be good is to
mash the email addresses... there're still way too many email address
harvesters out there... i thin i would mask the email addresses so that their
first maybe three characters remain, the rest to the @ are dots and then the
domain...

eg: some.user@invalid  =>  som...@invalid

or something like that... similar to that seen on forum web sites and comment
areas on blogs...
