I know it does. Part of me does not understand why the onus falls on my
shoulders to handle this instead of the author of the message-posting software
not splitting large messages into managable chunks.
Let me look at the code when I have some time... translation, boredom.
It may only be possible to skip messages beyond 64k; splitting them will be a
challenge with very little heap-memory to work with and already pushing limits
of what can be done with 640k.
I'm reluctant to start changing code largely untouched for decades.
