You were asking about pre-processed files not being deleted, which I still do
not understand what you mean. Now you are asking why an inbound packet cannot
be tossed twice... if you already have the messages from that packet, why does
it need to be tossed again?

If the packet is Echomail, then the messages are unpacked and DBRIDGE.DUP is
created either in the BADECHO directory if its a Passthru area or in the
appropriate *.MSG directory if its a Fido-storage area. A signature is written
to this database. If the same message is tossed twice, its rejected.

If you really must toss that packet twice you will need to delete that
dupe-database.
