D'Bridge has not been officially tested or supported in vdos. I recommend
either plain NTVDM enabled via Control Panel, Programs, Legacy Components if
you are using Windows 10 32-bit or download and install NTVDM64 if 64-bit. If
you must use something else try Dosbox-X... NOT the "regular" Dosbox.

The problem you are describing sounds like file system cache, where a DOS
program creates a file for a Windows process that is not being seen or
vice-versa. Either way this is a problem most likely to do with Vdos itself.
