I had a comparable issue with the latest release of FMail when 1 of the .exe
files was marked as malware by the sourceforge system. Also a false positive.
But they were quick to have it manually white-listed. Apparently it happens so
often they have developped good practise to fix these issues.

Sourceforge uses this system in the background to have new uploads scanned by
numerous virusscanners:

You can use it to check your files yourself before publication, and warn your
users, or try to fix it...
