On 26 Feb 17  13:15:30, C.G. Learn said the following to All:

When specifying custom ports with D'Bridge, if you receive the following error
message, this is caused by incorrect TCP stack (Winsock) binding on some
versions of Windows, and possibly some versions of Windows with Microsoft
Visual C++ 2008 runtime libraries installed.

CL> C:\GAP\PROGRAMS\DBRIDGE>binkdwin -c dbridge.bnk
CL> ? 13:08 [3784] 24557: incorrect port (getaddrinfo: Either the application h
CL> not called WSAStartup, or WSAStartup failed. )

The version of BinkD that fixes this problem is:

binkd11a95-mingw32-ipv6-perldl-zlib.zip from http://download.binkd.org/win/

Download this file and extract the executable. Replace BINKDWIN.EXE in your DB
directory and restart D'Bridge, reconfiguring for the correct port. The
problem is now resolved and the system runs normally.

I will be conducting further tests and possibly issuing SR12 for this problem.
