The newer LG ones and one made by a Quebec company called "Gree" have an
evaporating mechanism that eliminates the pans.
The biggest problem with using an AC in an apartment is you gotta watch the
amps. My place was built in the 1960's and anything past 10 or 15 amps is
"trouble".
