MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

     Title: Dr Martin's Mix
Categories: Pork, Rice
     Yield: 4 Servings

     1 lb Pork sausage or hamburger;
          -up to 1 1/2 lb
     1    Green pepper; chopped
     2    Green onions; chopped
2    Celery ribs; up to 3,
          -chopped
     2 c  Chicken consommé or
          -bouillon
     1 c  Dry rice
     1 tb Worcestershire sauce
   1/2 ts Salt

 Preparation time: 7 minutes
 Cooking time: 1 hour

Crumble pork sausage (hamburger will do, but pork is better) into a
skillet, and brown it. Pour off a little of the fat. Then add other
 ingredients.

Cover, and simmer at the lowest possible heat for 1 hour.

 Note:

Also, just in case you hadn't realized this, grinding de-boned meat
in your food processor, just before use, is the intelligent
alternative to buying store-packaged ground meat: Your ground meat
can be of higher quality, have far-lower chance of contamination, be
fresher, and almost certainly be cheaper.
