Wow.. so, with a simple declaration, they can force a product
that cannot necessarily decrypt a user's messages to be
reengineered so that it does?  That's ridiculous.

At the very least, there are development costs involved to
"break" E2EE, and the implementation. Is the EU going to be
paying for those changes?
