The "definition" has an exception for that!  The bendable/flexi
straws are "ok", but the not the straight ones.

They DO say that it's problem based on the amount of plastic
showing up on "the shores".  I suppose, since is a Canadian
ruling, they mean the shores of the Great Lakes.
