AI> Hello August,
AI>  >> This is not some new revelation. The NIH is active in research and

AI> What is the claim of what was actually going on?
AI> I don't know Elaine Dewar but I just did a quick search and I don't find any links to virology or science for her, or is this non scientific?
AI> No, he didn't. It was a talking point that he and others brought up.
AI> I am interested to know what claims have been made against Fauci.
AI>  >>  AA> Can Fauci acro-bat-ically flap his way out of this one?

AI> OK.

The claim against Fauci is that he knowingly lied to Congress when asked about the research at the Wuhan lab.
It is now proven fact that the NIH WAS in fact funding research taking place there, which Fauci at first denied then admitted to, albeit claiming that the research wasn't "gain of function". That is now factually disputed by the NIH itself.
The term "Gain of Function" is a term used by the NIH itself in defining the type of research that they are permitted to fund. It's illegal for them to do so. That's why Facuci denied doing so. Rand Paul was using the term as it came from the NIH.

Then there is the lab funded by the NIH where research ws done on puppies who had their ability to make noises removed so researchers wouldn't be bothered by the sounds of them crying and whimpering.

No matter which way you slice this, the narrative has gone against Fauci and his supporters. Once there are crying puppies involved, it's all over ?
