The retailer announced on its website that ?temporary item limits,? were to be brought in due to evidence some Americans were stockpiling products due to the Covid-19 delta variant.

Shopper limitations were common to stop people panic buying and depleting vital everyday supplies last year - like water and toilet paper.

A sign of things to come?
