I don't blame him.

I had a job as a helper drilling holes for foundation piers for buildings primarily.  Well, have you ever noticed the signs that say "call before digging" or something similar?  There is a good reason for that.  Utility companies are supposed to come out and mark their buried wires and pipes.

So we are called out to a construction site to drill the pier holes for a new shopping center. It's within sight of a hospital. The utility companies flags are there showing the lines, the construction company has marked where we need to drill. 3rd hole, up comes the telephone lines that the phone company missed, which happened to service the hospital....
