Hello, August Abolins.

Basically, yes. But it's also just a pure "what's out there" kind of thing.

At this juncture, it's more frustration than puzzlement. Other than Stas's bot, none of it is particularly new, and should work. Unless I'm the first person in years of the programs being around to run into the issues I have. Which honestly is highly unlikely.

Exactly. I use that exclusively for rbb.fidonet.fi .
While there hasn't been a lot of traffic in 12 hours or so, there has been some.

That's possible, but odd that you are receiving something, but I'm not.

The bug is a known bug, that hasn't been addressed. The solutions for a work around come from the FAQ.
It's annoying, but there are only 2-3 messages involved. So it's not a major problem.

Hopefully. I resubscribed last night. But no confirmation from Areafix as of yet.
CP>> Why would I do this? I'm a certifiable lunatic.
AA> You're an investigator / problem-solver at heart.
Partially correct reason.

Y and Z modem are a standard for BBS. If you advertise your Telnet app for BBSes, you should have the capability there.
As far as direct links? That's not really practical for QWK or Bluewave packets. Those are going to be customized files for each user.

I wasn't even considering RSS for echos, I only mentioned that because it came up in my NNTP search on Google Play.

I know there are some that have the capability. But I was actually thinking of operating on a cloud server type thing.
CP>> Did I mention I'm running in 2 hours of sleep in 3 days?
AA> Sleep can be so overrated when the mind is racing.
Been that way for years.
