Nothing wrong with that. You're experimenting to see what might be a
better solution.
Myself, I have about 3 vectors into an echo. They all have advantages.

You're encountering new things and they behave with some puzzlement.
Not all puzzles are easily solved.

The one you posted using a new Android reader got delivered. But are
you saying that the same echo content is not showing up in that
reader when you connecting to the SAME bbs?

Messages into and out of Veleno (based in Italy) seem to be
unpredictable in timing. Maybe things operate at a much slower pace
in that country.

That's a great find! So.. your efforts are not totally fruitless.
If that was me, the bug would annoy me. But you do have other options.

That's not so good. BUT, now you know what you did. That's good!
CP> Why would I do this? I'm a certifiable lunatic.
You're an investigator / problem-solver at heart.

I've looked around the net for something too. There seems to be
several that claim to work well. I can't imagine why Y & Z modem
would be high on an app programmer's list. Direct http:// links to
files makes more sense in these modern apps. But an olmr feature for
messages would be smart. Olmr works with Telegram, sorta.

An RSS feed for an echo would be interesting. But RSS seems be
broken in modern web browsers. The newer Firefox version on Win7
doesn't support it properly. But it works ok on my XP machines.
Therefore, not sure if RSS would be a selling point advantage for
new people who have the latest programs and new pcs.

Synchronet bbs software provides a forum-like webby interface
option. Some BBSes use it. Apparently it looks and operates quite
well on a smartphone/tablet.
CP> Did I mention I'm running in 2 hours of sleep in 3 days?
Sleep can be so overrated when the mind is racing.
