Yes, but I don't experiment with my pcs. I treat them as appliances and expect them to work.  Even if I *did* backup the T60 contents, there would be no option to restore it anywhere else anyway. :(  I purchased PCMover Professional a few months ago with the idea of migrating my whole operation to the T540p, but I never followed through. I'm already witnessing the inconvenience of not having my speccial programs on the T540p. (AnyAudioConverter, Audacity, IrfanView, etc..) What a pain to find and reinstall from scratch.  One thing that PCMover promised is migrating my licensed copy of MO Office 2007 - that is the main thing really.

It's a holiday Monday here, so I may get the courage to disassemble the T60 and dig out the fan. Never did that before and I've never cleaned and lubed a fan.
