HN>>>> Both my direct links in R50 don't support this area. But I
HN>>>> found a link in Z1. So let's try:
DC> Hrm so maybe what I send to michael 5020/1042 only gets as far as
DC> his links?
Dunno;-)
Until now, I've seen only msg from R50 originated by 2 different points.

There are _at_ _least_ in R50 linked:
5058/72 5058/26 5058/42 5080/1003 5020/4441 5020/1042 and 5020/10192
^^^^^^^^^Michael
Anyway, 5020/715 and 5066/18 (my direct links) do not support CHAT.
HN>> Long time not been in this echo. Since 2:5020/52 unplug-ed his
HN>> fido node. Got a new Moscow (N5020) uplink and another in N5066.
HN>> But no one has CHAT
DC> I could never get any echo's from my link with 2:5020/52 when it
DC> existed. I always got a not in zone 2 error from his areafix. (Why
DC> link to a z2 hub if not to get z2 echos?) Me I have a few links
DC> from moscow and one in spb and also 1 in taganrog(5060). then also
DC> one at 2:461/700 Alex but he has gone, only his system still runs.
HN>> After I was invited by Bob Seaborn to establish a direct link, I
HN>> found
DC> CHA
HN>> in his list of available areas. So just a areafix and 2 sec later
HN>> it was fixed;-)
DC> :) And I bet it is a good link too.
Sure he is..
DC>>> Hi Herman :) This seems to be an echo where 2 zones claim to
DC>>> have ownership:( where 1 side dislikes cyrilc and the other
DC>>> duslikes the latin chr sets:(
HN>> I can type/read both. And, AFAIK, you too;-)
DC>>> And I know "ne"(ru) bothers you :)
HN>> Is that so? ;-)
HN>>>> . . .
DC> Sorry for my poetic use of ne (not) (doesn't).
I can read/understand H (Ne) ;-)
My editor cannot save/export cyrillic H (so I type Latin H) Reading
cyrillic H is no problem.
